Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU) was established in the year 1987 in the city of Ajmer, of Rajasthan state of India. It opened in 1987 and is named after the philosopher Maharshi Dayananda Saraswati. The university was established on1st August1987 as the University of Ajmer. But the name was changed to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University in the year 1992.

अजमेर महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती विश्वविद्यालय प्री. टीचर एज्यूकेशन टेस्ट की तैयारियों में जुटा है। राज्य में 17 मई को 710 केंद्रों पर परीक्षा होगी। समन्वयक प्रो. बी. पी. सारस्वत ने बताया कि 17 मई को होने वाली प्री.टीचर एज्यूकेशन टेस्ट के लिए प्रदेश में 710 परीक्षा केंद्र बनाए गए हैं। परीक्षा के लिए करीब 2 लाख 85 हजार विद्यार्थी पंजीकृत हुए हैं।
